While our friends of http://www.debevrijding.be/ are preparing to redo the liberation tour of 1918 100 years later we decided to stay in the same atmosphere and drove to Verdun to visit the battlefields of 1916 arround Verdun. The battle of Verdun was the longest and one of the bloodiest in human history it lasted 303 days and had an average of 70.000 casualties a month.
The next couple of days we will stay arround Verdun.
